A scene from CG meeting

Sitting and staring. Baniya and UT are chalking out plans for the Marketing department. Bengalan and Cheetah are trying to edit and post something. Tarun has just arrived, in his college uniform, from Noida. And I am sitting and staring.
After many meetings we finally are not meeting at ‘Indian Coffee House’. Despite the name, ICH had no idea what coffee should be like. I demand it to drop ‘Coffee’ from its name and add ‘smoke’ to it. The only advantage of sitting there is that nobody brings you a ‘check’ and asks you to leave. Also, you can smoke as much as you want to in addition to cheap food.
Today we are sitting at the newly built ‘Lavazza lounge’ in CP. I am hungry and a veg burger costs ₹300 here. I am left to stealing the complimentary pieces of chocolates they gave to others. Should I just cross the street and buy it from KFC?
I day dream my way through this meeting. The CG house… With bean bags… Chicks… Comfy beds… No pressure to perform (not that we  pressurize anybody to perform, ever). Suddenly I am nudged out of my daydream only to realize that the CG team is suggesting the idea of me posing in a swim suit. The conversation veers towards three men in a room and the laughter only subsides because we suddenly remind ourselves that the infantile Bengalan is sitting right there. She travelled all the way from Mumbai to attend her first meet.
Every meeting seems less like work and more like one of those casual meetings you have with those friends who are brimming with ideas  but are in no hurry to share them.
Now these are the things that should constitute a meeting of some serious geniuses.
Till then, I shall go back to the haze of mellow entrepreneurial happiness.
